Send Expands Commitment to Canton Network with a 2nd Validator and Strategic Collaboration
As a peer-to-peer app for sending, saving, investing, and spending stablecoins, Send is actively building on the Canton Network to bring everyday utility to digital assets, all while maintaining data protection and composability.
As part of this initiative, we’ve been developing a suite of products tailored for the Canton ecosystem, including Canton Wallet and Canton Safe, and of course Send. Earlier this year, we secured several key domains to support this product roadmap:
CantonWallet.com (coming soon)
CantonSafe.com (coming soon)
CantonSwap.com (coming soon)
This week, we finalized the sale of CantonSwap.com to Obsidian Systems, a team of expert DAML developers with deep roots in the ecosystem. Obsidian has been building on Canton for over three years, and their founder, Ryan, serves on the board of the Haskell Foundation, the language at the heart of DAML and the Canton protocol.
The two teams — Send and Obsidian — will be collaborating closely in the coming weeks to integrate swap functionality directly into Canton Wallet, creating a seamless and private experience for users interacting with digital assets across the network.
Our vision is simple: Build a global, consumer-ready financial experience where stablecoins just work.
We believe privacy is a prerequisite, not an afterthought. Canton gives us the infrastructure to deliver on that promise.
Let’s /send it.
